How to Send a Direct Link to Your Book Review

ARC reviews for Erin WrightWelcome to my ARC team, and congrats! I can't wait to see what you think of my latest story. 😀

However, you may be wondering, "Erin, you want me to send you a direct link to my reviews of your book, but I don't know how to do that!" No worries - below, I cover how to do it on every single storefront that I publish to. Click on the link of the storefront that you want help with, or simply scroll down to read through each section. Either way, if you have any questions, please be sure to ask!

PLEASE NOTE: All storefronts will require you to have an account before you can review through them. In the steps below, I'm assuming that a) You have an account set up and b) You're logged into that account. Make sure that's actually true before attempting these steps. 🙂

PLEASE NOTE 2: I'm intentionally not providing my email address in these directions, because that's a great way to hand it over to a group of spammers. 😮 So, please use the email address that is in the ARC book that I sent you. Also, every email that I've sent you also comes from this particular email address, so it shouldn't be hard to find. 🙂

With much gratitude and love,

Erin

Amazon Reviews

Erin Wright books on Amazon.comThese steps work for ALL Amazon storefronts (not just Amazon.com) so, no matter where you're at in the world, if you're reviewing on Amazon, here's what you do:

  1. After you post a review, Amazon will automatically send you a confirmation email, saying, "Congrats, here's your review, it'll go live in just a minute."
    1. Forward that review to me and done! You don't have to do anything else. 🙂
    2. This only works if the email addy that you used when signing up for my newsletter and the email addy that you used when signing up for your Amazon account are the same.
    3. If you want to change the email addy that you have for my newsletter, just tell me and I can update that for you.
  2. If you'd rather show proof a different way, here are steps to finding a direct link to a specific Amazon review:
    1. After posting the review, go back to the book in question. Here is a link to my Amazon.com author page, if you need to find your way back to a specific book and aren't sure how to get there.
    2. Once you're looking at the book listing, scroll down to the review section.
    3. Find your review. If you just posted it, it should be in the right-hand column, under "Most Recent Customer Reviews":Erin Wright reviews
    4. If it's been a while since you posted it, you may have to search back through the reviews to find it.
    5. Once you've found your review, you're going to click on the title of your review. In the case of this screenshot, the title is, "I totally got lost in this story and forgot the time. Just loved it"erin wright reviews
    6. Once you click on the title of your review, it's going to take you to a totally new page that will show just your review by itself on the page, like so: erin wright western romance reviews
    7. Once you're on that page, you're going to go to the top of the screen and copy the URL there:URL for erin wright reviews
    8. Now that you have the URL, email it to me. All done! 🙂

Barnes and Noble (Nook) Reviews

Erin Wright books on NookOkay, if you've posted a review but aren't sure how to navigate your way back to the book where you left the review, here's a direct link to all of my Nook listings. Find the right book and click on it, then you'll want to...

  5. When you click on "Share," this menu will pop up: Share menu on Barnes and Noble
  6. Click on the Email icon
  7. This will pop up:Nook reviews for Erin Wright
  8. In the TO: section, type my email address.
  9. In the FROM: section, type yours - the same one you used to sign up for my ARC group! 🙂
  10. In the MESSAGE: section, just say something like "ARC review" or whatever you want.
  11. Click Send.
  12. It will give you a spam check to make sure you're not a spammer. Answer that.
  13. It's sent! Congrats. 😀

iBook (Apple) Reviews

Erin Wright Western Romance Novels on Apple This one is a little different, because iTunes / iBooks / Apple (whatever you want to call them!) doesn't give you the ability to link directly to a specific review. Making things even more confusing, they also have separate reviews for each geographical region, so if you live in Australia, you're going to see totally different reviews than I will here in America.

If you need to find your way back to your iTunes review, here is the link to all of my iTunes books.

  1. If you know how to do screenshots, please send me a screenshot of your review.
    1. NOTE: Every device is different, so I don't want to attempt to give you instructions on how to send screenshots on your particular device - we'd be here all day long, trying to list out the hundreds of different devices in the world and their particular steps, lol. So only do this if you know how to do a screenshot and how to email those screenshots to people.
    2. This is the most preferred method, especially if you're in a different geographical region than me, but I understand if you're not able to do it.
  2. If you don't know how to do screenshots, please send me your username on iBooks that your review is posted under, and what geographical region you're in.
  3. That's it - you're awesome!
